This book is a great way to learn more of the facts surrounding these historical figures, such as Edward “Blackbeard” Teach.Īs neat a topic as this book has, however, I only give this work 3/5 stars because it could have been significantly improved by more structure and focus. This is a really interesting period of history that is extremely charismatic, especially through the interpretations of pirates in classic literature and entertainment media.
